With fall weddings in Colorado, you never know what could happen. An early snow could knock all the leaves from the trees prematurely, or we could see fall in its full glory—colorful and warm.

Kelly and Andrew had a beautiful Colorado fall wedding day, filled with sunshine, laughter and love. Their wedding was one of the first quarantine love stories we experienced in the midst of a global pandemic.

Kelly is a major planner with an adventurous spirit. She’d taken a solo trip to Turkey and climbed Machu Picchu. Kelly’s sister, Bridget, mentioned how Kelly is one to always make the bold choice.

She and Andrew had just started dating when quarantine was announced and they decided that they were going to be part of each other’s “bubbles” for the duration.

According to Best Man Nathan, who couldn’t make it due to getting COVID shortly before the wedding, Andrew is a classic over-thinker and spent a lot of time overthinking their relationship and their future. Nathan said that Andrew’s adoration of Kelly is “gross” and that the way he gushed about her is how Nathan knew she was the one.

As with most stories of this era, a lot of quality time with important people was spent getting to know each other over family Zoom calls. Andrew even coordinated a surprise birthday party for Kelly over Zoom.

They took a vacation with Kelly’s family vacation to Orange City, NJ. It took less than a day for her family to fall in love with him, which is why it was no surprise that they were engaged in July and we were capturing their wedding just a few months later.

We captured some wedding party shots at Confluence Park in Downtown Denver.

It was a beautiful wedding and reception, which were held in the Historic Lumber Baron Inn. Thank you for having us capture your wedding, Kelly and Andrew.
