Brittany & Jonathan met in Illinois, where they are both from. Family and friends travelled to Denver to witness their nuptials, which were officiated by Brittany’s grandfather.

This gorgeous summer wedding was a true family affair. The bride wore her mother’s wedding dress to walk down the aisle, and was escorted by her father. The groom’s mother walked him down the aisle as well. The two exchanged vows, and then we whisked them away to do some fun portraits inside the Downtown Aquarium. Surrounded by fish, sharks, and other underwater creatures, Brittany and Jonathan were virtual celebrities as we took them through the exhibit.

After drinks in the Dive Bar, the family convened in the Nautilus ballroom at the aquarium for dinner, dancing, and other wedding festivities, including a money dance and cake cutting. The father of the bride got choked up as he delivered his toast, reminiscing on the family’s Disney trips and Brittany’s love for animals.

At the end of the night, the couple disappeared into the exhibits alone to enjoy their first few moments of married life. This was a fun Denver destination wedding, and I look forward to shooting here again.
