Andrew called me the other day and interviewed me over the phone about shooting his surprise engagement to his love Shelby. His plan was to have a “portrait session” up at the Grand Lake Lodge in Grand Lake, Colorado. He was under the veil of a “family reunion”. Everyone was in on this. The whole weekend was planned to surprise Shelby with the proposal. All of their family and close friends were hiding in the back trees as we proceeded with the “portrait session”. Shelby had no clue even with the sign directly above her head. The expressions are all real.
